Show Me The Sign, Baby! - ASI 154
Show Me The Sign, Baby! is designed to introduce parents and expectant parents to the enormous benefits of using American Sign Language (ASL) with their pre-verbal babies. We will provide the tools and techniques needed to facilitate communication and understand the baby’s needs. Discussions on active listening, observing and recognizing innate signals and sounds babies use to communicate will be included. Demonstrations of signs will be used in each class along with informative lectures, and practice with the parent and child. Handouts will be provided at each class for practice at home.
